Mima leaves the idol group CHAM, in order to pursue her dream as an actress. Mima climbs up the rocky road to success by performing as rape victims and posing nude for magazines, but is haunted by her reflections of the past.

Very competent pink, written and directed by, Hidekazu Takahara and starring the delectable Sora Aoi. She is quite delightful with great looks and ability to perform most believably, however, crazy the situation. She can ask a sweaty schoolboy to tie her up or cook for her teacher lover while they await his wifes return from hospital with a new baby; and we watch spellbound. The director talks about the movie reflecting a persons decision as to when to grow up and whilst the film may not be quite as serious as he intended, it is certainly as thoughtful as it is most erotic.
Tsumugi was named fourth best pink film release for 2004 at the Pink Academy Awards, the Pink Grand Prix. AV idol Sora Aoi was also given a Best New Actress award at the ceremony for her performance in this film.

EyeForFilm- Guerrilla reporting has its risks and limitations. When the penalty is life in prison, even death, keeping those cameras hidden is of vital importance, which restricts access to a considerable extent, although any pictures coming out of a locked down country, such as Burma, especially during the monks’ “revolt” of 2007, are of genuine value.
The government decrees that “gatherings of more than five individuals are forbidden”. This is ignored. A day later a curfew is announced in Rangoon and then the violence begins.“They are trying to grab the monks. They are tearing off their clothes.” You see them being thrown into trucks. A Japanese journalist is shot dead in the street. Gunfire can be heard everywhere. Crowds run in panic.
This film is a testament, a witness, a scoop, a cry for help, a recognition, a suppression, a determination to be heard, an act of faith, a murmur of the heart, a defiance, a defeat.

Plot: Set in the Philippines in 1945 towards the end of WWII, under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Henry Mucci and Captain Robert Prince, the 6th Ranger Battalion undertake a daring rescue mission against all odds.
