Air France, the world s 3rd largest airline for international passenger transport, operates a fleet of 373 aircraft to 300 destinations in more than 90 countries. The Airbus A330 is the newest addition to the fleet with 8 aircraft planned for operations around the world. On this program we ferry the A330 to Chateauroux where the crew does a training flight. From the tower we observe the touch & go and go-around maneuvers before we take the aircraft back to Paris. This is followed by a transatlantic flight to Boston which features a great approach with spectacular views of Boston Logan Airport as well as the city of Boston. Also included a visit in the cabin of this brand new Airbus.

Air Caraibes operates a fleet of modern Airbus A330s on transatlantic routes from Martinique and Guadeloupe to Paris. For domestic and regional Caribbean routes the airline uses Embraer Regional Jets, ATR and other aircraft which are all featured on this program. The dvd starts with a roundtrip transatlantic flight on the Airbus A330 from Fort de France to Paris Orly Airport. You then fly the Embraer 145 to Haiti, the Dominican Republic and St Maarten s famous airport, that is followed by a spectacular hop on the Cessna Caravan from St Maarten to St Barth and the Dornier from St Barth to Point A Pitre. A very scenic flight around Guadeloupe on the Cessna and an ATR flight to St Martin s French side airport conclude this Caribbean dvd.

Air Greenland was founded in 1960. Today it is owned by the Government of Greenland (37.5%), Scandinavian Airlines (37.5%) and the Danish State (25%). The airline uses the Airbus A330-200 and Boeing 757-200 for scheduled flights to Scandinavia as well as on charter flights around Europe. Air Greenland operates an extended domestic network with the Dash 7 and helicopters. This DVD features 4 different types of aircraft on a variety of routes, mostly domestic, operated by Air Greenland. Cebu Pacific, the Filipinos airline of choice, operates low cost service with a fleet of Boeing 757s on longer and busier routes as well as a dozen Douglas DC9-30s mostly on domestic routes. The airline has placed an order for Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft which will start replacing the fleet in 2005. This dvd is an opportunity to fly the DC9s and 757s on 9 domestic routes in the Philippines including the busy Manila-Cebu and Manila-Davao sectors. Flights are filmed in the cockpit and pilots give presentations of the aircraft throughout the program. A couple of these flights were filmed in the cabin with views over the wings on takeoff and landing.

South African Airways, Africa s leading airline, operates a fleet of more than 50 modern aircraft including the A320, A340, B737 and B747. SAA, created in 1934, operates more than 1000 flights a week around the world has won many awards for its outstanding service! This dvd, previously released on video, features the A300 on a typical regional African flight to Zimbabwe. This is followed by several domestic flights on its most important route between Jo burg and Cape town. During the arrival into Cape town on the 747SP we are allowed to make a scenic tour of this beautiful city. Last but not least we fly the 747-400 from Cape town on its busiest European route to London.

Lan Chile, established in 1929, is the national airline of Chile. From its hub in Santiago it flies to Central, North & South America, Europe and the Pacific with a modern fleet of Airbus A320s, Airbus A340s, Boeing 737s & Boeing 767s. In this program we fly the airline's new long haul aircraft, the Airbus A340-300, on its European route from its hub at Santiago to Madrid, Spain and Frankfurt, Germany. Lan Chile is scheduled to operate a fleet of 7 A340s. We then fly the Airbus A320-200 to 2 destinations in the Northern part of the country followed by the Boeing 737-200 to 2 destinations in the Southern part of Chile and last but certainly not least, we fly to Argentina on a very scenic flight over the Andes.

The Austrian Group, a member of Star Alliance, operates a fleet of around 100 aircraft on routes all over the world from its Vienna hub. The airport has a unique transfer time of only 25 minutes. On long range routes Austrian operates Airbus A330/A340s and Boeing 767/777s. This program features the A330-200 on a roundtrip from Vienna to Beijing. Our cockpit crew gives you one of the best possible presentations of their aircraft, their work, the flights and much more while the purser makes a nice presentation of the cabin and the excellent Austrian inflight service.
