The 2010 race saw Australia's Mark Webber produce a flawless drive to claim victory in Barcelona ahead of home favourite Fernando Alonso. Sebastian Vettel claimed the final place on the podium, while a puncture forced British star Lewis Hamilton to retire. The McLaren driver will be hoping for a change of luck at the Circuit de Catalunya, where his best result is second place during his debut season in 2007. Hamilton took the chequered flag ahead of his McLaren team-mate Jenson Button, with Fernando Alonso not far behind in third. The Red Bull pair of Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber were down in fourth and fifth, but this year Vettel has been the man to beat following his stunning start to the season. The current world champion, though, has yet to taste victory on a track where his German compatriot Michael Schumacher won a record seven times.
