French musician and singer Emilie Simon was born in 1978. She was a student of ancient music before turning to writing and composing electronic music. She found success in France with her self-titled debut album released in 2003. It won an award in France for Best Electronic Album, helped in part, by her striking videos.

Atlanta, Georgia native Kelly Rowland is probably best known as one third of the superstar pop girl-group Destiny s Child, along with Beyoncй Knowles and Michelle Williams.
