On 17 September 1939, a group of Polish officers and soldiers are imprisoned by the Soviet Army on the border of Poland. Anna and her daughter Nika travel from Krakow to meet her husband and officer Andrzej and they try to convince him to leave the soldiers and escape back home. However, Andrzej refuses to leave the troop and is deported to USSR. Later the Soviet tells that the Polish officers had been massacred by the Germans in the Katyn Forest with a shot on the back of the neck. However Anna retrieves Andrzej’s diary and discloses that the soldiers had been actually murdered by the Soviet Army.

Plot: In 2010 Los Angeles, three good friends have had a string of bad luck with their adult lives: Adam has been dumped by yet another girlfriend and his video game obsessed nephew Jacob lives in his basement; Lou is a party guy who cannot find the party; and Nick has a dead end job and an unfaithful wife named Courtney who controls his every move.

When Lou nearly kills himself through carbon monoxide poisoning, Adam and Nick impulsively take him and Jacob to the site of some of their most memorable weekends, the Kodiak Valley Ski Resort which, like them, has fallen upon hard times. After a crazy night of drinking in a hot tub, the men wake up in the year 1986. The group can see each other as their proper age, but when they look at their reflections and to everyone else they appear as they did in 1986. However, Jacob, who was not even born yet, is still there in his normal 2010 state.

Egon and Dnci are two lonely inhabitants on a distant solar-system’s tiny planetary. Egon is an amateur “space-exploratory” trying to seem very moderate, but his deeds are dogged by constant ill fortune cased mostly by his fumbler cat, Dnci. The film puts on the two figures’ comic conflicts, vicissitudes, as they get into all kinds of staggering adventures while exploring the sensible existence far away from earth. They live through every situation in a peculiar way. Egon and Dnci never talk. They communicate with each other and with the viewer in the most simple way - with childlike mimicry, one syllable sounds, gestures - therefore they are not bantered to any determined language. In this way they are understood by the youngest age-group as well as the elder on any part of the Earth. Last, but not least the film’s aim is to familiarize the viewer with the planets of our solar-system, the main curiosities of the outer space, it’s characteristics and regularities with the intention to educate.
